MY HAPPY PLACE, by David Jr.

The water has always been my happy place.

It can be a pool, ocean, or even a lake.  I’m never stressed, expected to talk, or perform a task.  Nope, no speech, OT, or ABA Therapy here, although my mama often tries to slip in a therapy goal here and there.  But I always know what’s she’s doing!  Nope, no shoe tying, buttons or zippers in the water.  No handwriting practice, no learning to tell time or counting money.  Just good clean fun.  Just jumping, splashing, playing, and being a regular kid with all the other kids!  No looks and no judgement. 

Life is good in the water!
